Grinor conditioned the new circuit of the El Pinar Autodrome
Grinor was in charge of expanding and reconditioning the track at the El Pinar racetrack., executing improvements and renovation of the track with the highest quality standards, leaving Víctor Borrat Fabini ready for the high competition that opens this weekend with the International TCR World Tour.
The work, that gives a new face to the traditional Canarian circuit, included the expansion of the runway as well as improvements in various sectors of the route.
The new spaces integrate the conformation of the platform, the granular base and laying of the new asphalt, the extension and improvement of the runway is being carried out in accordance with international standards.
The improvement of the infrastructure included the milling of a section and resurfacing, building new pianos, leca beds, runway extensions, and placement of New Jersey-type concrete protective walls, in addition to new horizontal signage.
The work carried out gives a new configuration of the circuit, allowing you to have new variants that allow you to have 4.150 meters of track, what was achieved by reaching new ground, and extending the total length of the route. The improvements meet the requirements of the International Automobile Federation.
For the execution of the project it was necessary to use more than 3.700 cubic meters of ballast, 2.900 tons of modified asphalt mixture. They were carried out 3.600 cubic meters of excavation, and they placed themselves 1.800 cubic meters of selected stone for the leca beds, 7,300m3 of landfill were filled and installed 1.000 ml of security walls.
Horizontal signage was also carried out throughout the track., as well as hydraulic conditioning works, conditioning of auxiliary streets and pit lane improvements.
More than 50 National and foreign drivers will be part of the race that begins this Saturday. The Uruguayan driver Santiago Urrutia will be part of the competition that positions the Autódromo at the highest international level.
